BIOGRAPHY

Regan is an Oireachtas champion in both the Western and mid-Atlantic (Eastern) regions. He won the North American Senior Belt twice and placed 4th at the World Championships twice. In 1985 Regan was selected as a Presidential Scholar in the Arts, one of twenty young artists nationwide to receive an award from then President Ronald Reagan. Regan taught dance in the Washington DC area for 10 years before relocating to Denville, New Jersey where he opened classes in early 2002. Regan’s performances include appearances at The Washington Irish Folk Festival, The Philadelphia Folk Festival, The National Folk Festival, and The White House.
